These three trips are planned to coincide with the year 2012. Although I will not be participating in any of these events, my beloved friend and teacher Jorge Luis Delgado will be coordinating the trips. Since the trips are being offered in the spirit of service, the prices are very, very low. Scrool down the page to see the details on the Lake Titicaca and Machu Picchu event.

     A Return to the Light

The Inca tradition holds that the earth is entering into a new spiritual age, called a PachaKuti, “the return of the light,” after 1000 years of darkness.  This time also coincides with the Mayan calendar and prophesies related to the year of 2012.  For the Inca, the year 2000 marked the beginning of this time of great change, with the rising of the Sun.  And now we are approaching a time when the Sun will finally appear above the horizon.  The light of Father Sun will illuminate our planet and shed light where there has only been darkness.  With the expanded light on our planet, we enter into a time when we are active and alive - when we can expand MUNAY (love), LLANCAY (service) and YACHAY (wisdom).  And what this means for our planet, humankind and each of us individually will be shown to us over the next few years.  What is certain is that we are living in a time for expansion, a time of joy and love.  And the ways of approaching this potent time, as spiritual people, is unlimited.

This is the time of reactivating the energy of the Father Sun, the Sun behind the Sun and the Inner-Sun.  It is a reconnection with the life-force energy and a time to remember the meaning of our own Inner-Sun.  During this time we have an opportunity to really experience who we are – a ray of sun.  This is the time to expand the eternal self, the eternal light that each of us is and a time to open ourselves and surrender to that light. Now perhaps more than ever, we need to be sensitive and pay attention to what this new vibratory frequency means to us and to our Mother Earth.   How this will manifest, the ways in which our world will change, will be revealed as we come closer to the date.

On a personal level, we continue to work toward a clearer understanding of the importance of the time.  What will 2012 mean for us as personally?  How will our lives be changed?

In the light of service, we are coordinating three events over the next two years.  Each gathering is intended to create an opportunity for entering into the vibrations of the New Dawn.  The Mystic Andean Masters, do not want to wait in our seats for the approach of December 21st, 2012. These three events will provide a way to actively participate in the rising of the Sun.  Each of the gatherings corresponds with a spiritual element of this incredible time and provides the opportunity to step up, be present and involved, as the spiritual consciousness of our planet rises to a new place.  The intention for the gatherings is to reconnect the sacred sites to the oneness of which we are all a part.  To do this, we will participate in centuries old Inca rituals and ceremonies.  Each site will be a gathering of different Elders and teachers, representing indigenous peoples from all over the world.  And there will prayers to connect with the oneness of Mother Earth, with the mountains and with Divinity.

Activation of the Solar Disk
Lake Titicaca - Peru
February 11th -15th, 2010
Awaken Your Inner Sun as You Connect with Hatun Inti – The Great Central Sun

At the zenith of the Sun, we will meet in communion with our Inner Sun, the Father Sun and the Sun behind the Sun. We will activate the legendary Solar Disk which is underneath the waters of our Sacred Lake Titicaca. The Inca ancestors considered Lake Titicaca as a special and sacred Lake. They used to organize pilgrimages to meditate and to make decisions, being spiritually elevated and to be purified by being near the waters.  There are forty one islands on the Lake and every island is a Huaca - an altar where superior and lofty Entities reside.  Having the wonderful scenery of the Great Mama Cocha (mother water) and with the light of the Pakarina (place of origin) we will live and experience unforgettable moments that only our Inner-Sun can integrate. Such an important pilgrimage for the Children of Light cannot be refused.

The Activation of the Solar Disk will imbue us with the fire of life; deepen our connections to the ethers and sublime energies. That produces an effect of the flood – a purification of all that is in the way - firing, cleaning and eliminating all that is not pure in us. These powerful currents of energies, the keepers of life, bring great goy and happiness.

About Lake Titicaca and The Solar Disk

Lake Titicaca is the world's highest lake navigable to large vessels, lying at 12,500 feet above sea level on the border between Peru to the west and Bolivia to the east. Titicaca is the second largest lake of South America and covers some 3,200 square miles and extends in a northwest-to-southeast direction for a distance of 120 miles. It is 50 miles across at its widest point.

The meaning of the name Titicaca is uncertain, but it has been variously translated as Rock of the Puma or Crag of Lead. There are Forty-one islands on the lake, with some of them densely populated. The largest, Titicaca Island (Spanish: Isla de Titicaca also called Isla del Sol, lies just off the tip of the Copacabana Peninsula in Bolivia. According to the tradition of the Quechuan, the legendary founders of the Inca dynasty, Manco Capac and Mama Ocllo, were sent down to Earth by the Sun.

There is a legend that says at the time when the island of Lemuria was sinking, one of the seven Great Masters of Lemuria, Lord Aramu Muru, was given the mission of bringing the sacred Golden Solar Disc from the Temple of Illumination on Lemuria, to Lake Titicaca for safe keeping. During the time of the Incas, the Solar Disc was transferred to Cusco, and placed in the Qorikancha, the main Temple of the Sun, where it stayed until the coming of the Spanish. At that time, it was returned to Lake Titicaca and placed for safe keeping in the etheric city inside the Lake.  In the legend of their origin, this is the place where the first Incas, M'anko Qapak and Mama Oqllo, entered onto the Earth.

Situated at 11,000 feet above sea level, Cusco is the oldest inhabited city in the Western Hemisphere. Cusco, (population 350,000) was once the proud capital of the Inca Empire. The Empire was created in the shape of a Puma. In Quechua, the language of the people of the Andes, Cusco means "navel of the Universe.”  Today it retains much of that pride. Inca architecture, now shadowed by colonial Spanish buildings, holds up the foundations for a majority of the city. The Quechua people, the present-day ancestors of the Incas, are also the foundation for the city and bring the charm, humility and beauty to Cusco.

DAY 02: FEB 16: CUSCO AND THE FOUR ELEMENTS

Buffet breakfast.  In Cusco is possible to feel a power in the air of this sacred city, comparable to vibrations felt in other holy cities.  We will start our day going to the Temple of the Heart, where heart to heart, we will surrender to Love, and to be able to experience the potency of this energy.

We will also connect with the four elements in these temples which are nearby.

• Tambomachay – One of the favorite resting, watering places of the Inca’s and also one of the pillars of the defense system of the Valley of Cusco. The area is composed of a set of stone structures, finely carved, aqueducts and water falls originating from nearby springs and thermal sources.  This is the basis of the belief that Tambomachay was related to the worship of water, a pillar of the Andean conception of the world.  Here we will connect with that belief and the element of water
• Amaru Machay: The Temple of Rebirth and connection with Mother Earth.  It is believed to be the Incan place for worshiping of the land (earth).and the place of the serpent.  In Andean cosmology, the serpent is a powerful symbol of transformation and rebirth.  The snake sheds its skin each year and is reborn.
• Illapata:  Here we will connect with the element air.
• Sacsayhuamán is one of the most amazing of Incan constructions. The Quechua name means "satisfied falcon.” Here was the falcon that guarded the capital of the Empire, since it was possible to overlook Cusco from the hill on which it was erected. Sacsayhuamán is usually described as a fortress because it is practically enclosed by three slopes. However, the fact that the Incas constructed a fortress in that place is considered unusual, since at the time of its construction, there were no major threats to the Empire. Anthropologists suggest the shape and location could have corresponded with other principles, such as the harmony between architecture and landscape.  Current investigations are suggesting that it must have been a temple devoted to the worship of the Sun, for which both the construction and the surrounding landscape were important.  This is a special place where rocks contain messages and lessons for a new Era.  Through geometrical symbols, we will connect with element of Fire.
• Kenko: This site is a series of limestone outcrops on which intricate mythical representations had been carved. The Quechua name means zigzag, probably due to the labyrinthine underground galleries, or the small channels carved on rocks with that shape. Behind that stone is a rocky headland with a staircase carved on the bare rock that leads to the top. A zigzag channel begins here that as of a minor hole, descends and splits into two branches.  One follows the slope and a second one goes up to the underground chamber.  Anthropologists theorize the second channel could have been used to transport the blood of llamas sacrificed in some rituals.  At the very top there are carved remains of what could have been a condor, whose head was broken, and a puma.  Our ceremony here will focus on awakening the altar of the Puma.

We will then return to the city to relax and connect with the Puma, which is the shape of the town. This animal represents the world of here and now. In his presence we can release the heavy energy (HUCHA) and absorb and expand the refined energy (SAMI) through our Q’osqo (navel) using the courage that the Puma gives to us.

DAY 03: FEB 17: SACRED VALLEY
Buffet breakfast.  We will drive to Pisac, where will have the opportunity to greet and talk with the Spirits of the Mountains (Apucunas) through the Mama Cuca (Mother Coca). Then having the Coca leaves in our hands, we will send our best intensions from our inner centre out to the spiritual world.  From there, we will continue following the Inka power places and travel by the energetic lines, called Tunupa’s Route to Ollantaytambo.  This is the power place of the Llama, the Condor, the Puma and the snake. Then, we will learn to fly like the Condor.

Dinner
Overnight at Taypikala Cusco Hotel.

DAY 04: FEB 18: MACHU PICCHU

After breakfast, we will transfer to the train station.  Here we will board a train and travel a beautiful and scenic route to Aguas Calinetes.  The town is located at the base of the mountain, which contain the ruins of the sacred city Machu Picchu.  Our pilgrimage is taking us to Machu Picchu among the sacred Apus and the clouds, on top of the world and away from civilization, for the explosion of our being, as the Sun’s Children.  As a part of our tour, we will visit the seven points of power and later participate in a ceremony on the grounds.  We visit the Temples of the Sun & Moon, the Temple of the Condor, the Temple of the Three Windows, and finally the world-famous spiritual center of the site, the Intihuatana, or the Hitching Post of the Sun. The intent of our work at this time will be to connect with the entities of Machu Picchu, the Puma, the Condor and the Light Spirits that reside here. Asking for permission from the guardians and entities of the place, we will surrender in spirit and expand our attributes, the ones which as the same of the Mother and the Father: Munay (love), Llancay (service), Yachay (wisdom).

Machu Picchu (Quechua: Old Peak; sometimes called the "Lost City of the Incas") is a well-preserved pre-Columbian Inca ruin located on a high mountain ridge. Forgotten for centuries by the outside world, although not by locals. Machu Picchu was brought back to international attention by Yale archaeologist Hiram Bingham who rediscovered it in 1911, and wrote a best-selling work about it, entitled Inca Land, which can be found on many sites of the internet. Fantastic green peaks loom up and around the ancient city above the Rio Urubamba below. Around 200 houses, palaces and temples built from large and small perfectly fitted stone blocks surround the central court.  The entire stone complex is considered a high voltage and magnetic focal point; every invocation made at Machu Picchu is amplified to incalculable proportions.

Late in the afternoon, we will return to Cusco by train.
